Liberdade, Floripa, and Albert Einstein

Oh wow so much has happened since the last time I have posted...where to start. I will describe the more recent experiences I have had for I could write a novel about all that I have done in the past few weeks! I hope everyone enjoys the photos....
This is the group of us in Florianopolis, possibly the most beautiful city in the world. We were able to meet up with Adam and the other MHIRT students, who showed us the time of our lives. This is at the beach Barra da Lagoa.....we had just gotten off of a 12 hour bus ride from Sao Paulo.

This is the view from Liberdade, Sao Paulo's Japanese town. It is truly another city of its own with a different culture, language, and society. We had amazing sushi and were able to experience an open-market with tons of Japanese trinkets.
Another amazing view from Praia Mole in Florianopolis. It was truly awesome to experience such natural beauties in Brazil.
Ellen sand dune boarding in Florianopolis. This was a treat for all of us at Praia Joaquina...one of the more famous beaches in Floripa!
I was very fortunate in being able to present my research so far at Albert Einstein Hospital...the best hospital in South America. Somewhat nerve-racking presenting in English in front of many doctors who are Portuguese, however the hard-work has paid off!
This is the whole group that is directly involved in my research project and I am very thankful for them all!!!
