| June 3rd, 2015: The thought of being in a different country is still so surreal! It has almost been a week and Erika and I are still getting a feel for this huge city. This is Doca- a major street in Belém where are apartment is located. It’s also conveniently located next to the HUGE Boulevard Shopping Mall :) I could get used to this! |

| After walking around, we found this cute little restaurant called Churrasco do Ray. It was super cheap and the food was tasty! We also met some friendly locals that attempted to chat with us. We will definitely be coming back! |

| Tried some yummy Açaí sorveterias today at a popular ice cream shop called Cairu! |

| The first night in our new apartment! We bought some bread and jelly for a late night snack but struggled opening the jelly :p |
